How long does it take to fix my phone?
Usually most of cell phone repairs can be done on the spot in 15-20 minutes while you wait. For tablets, it could be 10-24 hours. Computer and laptop repairs could take 1 to 2 business days, depends on the problem.
Will my phone fully function after the repair?
Yes. Your phone will function perfectly after repair. You’re covered by our 30 days warranty if you have any malfunctions.
I dropped my phone in water, what should I do?
If you dropped your phone in water you should bring it to our repair shop as soon as possible, so we can open and dry it. If you do not have access to a local repair shop – try to dry your phone by a hairdryer. Do not use rice, it never helps.
When do I have to pay for my repair?
You pay only when your device is fixed and fully functional. We do not take payments prior to repair. But we can ask you for a small deposit if we need to order specific or expensive parts.
Do you buy phones?
Yes, we buy most major carriers (AT&T, Metro By T-Mobile, Cricket, T-Mobile, and Verizon). We recommend you bring your phone/phones into our location and we can evaluate them and quote you a price. Phone pricing is based on a number of variables including make, model, IMEI, carrier, the condition of the phone, our current inventory of that particular phone and current market value of that phone. We do not give quotes over the phone due to needing to physically see the phone.
Do I need an appointment to fix my phone?
You do not need an appointment to come. Walk-ins are welcome. Stop by anytime within our business hours and we will be happy to assist you!
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept any type of debit and credit cards. Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, American Express, and others
What if I already have the part(s) needed to repair my phone?
We do install customer provided parts, but Family FoneFix is not able to provide a warranty when using your own parts.
Do you sell parts and repair tools?
We do not sell parts and repair tools. We believe repair should be done by professionals with years of experience to avoid any unnecessary damages and expenses.
Can i book an appointment online?
Sure can! Click Here to book an appointment with us – however, walk-ins are always welcomed!
Do you offer free diagnostics?
Yes, It’s free in our repair shop. If you bring your devices to us there will be no diagnosis charge.
What is the difference between a NEW and REFURBISHED phone?
- “New” means the phone has never been used or activated.
- “Refurbished” means components have been fixed or replaced.
30 DAYS Warranty
- We Provide 30 days warranty for any manufacturer defects for our parts and services.
- The warranty covers only parts and services provided by our company.
- The warranty is effective within 30 days from the repair date. We cover any malfunctions of our parts AS LONG AS THEY ARE NOT BROKEN OR CRACKED & DOES NOT HAVE WATER DAMAGE.
- The warranty provided does not cover any physical, accidental, or liquid damage. Any damage to the component, internal or external, will void the warranty.
- Any third party repairs or modifications MAY void your warranty.
- The warranty covers manufacturer defects with the components replaced.
